Honey Lavender Lemonade

Honey-Lavendar-LemonadeIngredients:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 2.5 cups water
  • 1 Tablespoon dried lavender
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 10 )
  • Additional 2 cups water
  • Lots of ice

Steps:

  1. Combine honey and 2.5 cups of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring to ensure the honey dissolves in the water.
  2. When the mixture reaches a boil, stir in the lavender and remove from heat.
  3. Let the mixture steep for 20 minutes, off the heat.
  4. Strain the lavender from the liquid, then add the fresh lemon juice and an additional 2 cups of water.
  5. Serve chilled over ice and enjoy!
